This section includes: A PowerPoint® Presentation Activities that engage participants in thinking and talking about project-based learning Suggested Readings including links to pertinent Web sites Sample Session Schedules PowerPoint Presentation CONTENT: This PowerPoint presentation introduces project-based learning, based on research and case studies. It discusses why project-based learning should be used, what it is, and how to begin. The process of questioning, planning, scheduling, monitoring, assessing, and evaluating are touched upon. The presentation then asks for group participation. Activities to be done in small groups are suggested on the final slides. Web sites suggested for the activities are active links.
