Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) This is an international network of students, teachers, and scientists who are studying the global environment. It is made up of over 6,000 schools in more than 70 countries. Students create a core set of environmental observations about their school and scientists use the information to enrich their science education. Scientists are from the fields of atmosphere, hydrology, soil, land cover / biology, global positioning systems, and seasons. It is searchable by school and partner countries. There is a searchable page of related sites. Also includes an extensive teacher's guide and a page of student science project investigations. Available in English, Spanish, and French.
