"Benjamin Franklin: In His Own Words" shows the breadth of Franklin's accomplishments through key letters, broadsides, and other documents. This exhibit, marking the tercentenary of Franklin's birth (1706), focuses on his achievements as a politician and statesman, as well as a printer and writer, an inventor and scientist. Topics include the Revolution, the Continental Congress, and the Treaty of Paris. A chronology of his life is provided. (LOC)
