Target Audience Grades three to 12 clustered in these groupings. Grades - 3-5 6-8 9-12 Review The 4-H Virtual Farm website gives an excellent insight into potential vocational directions in agriculture. It is designed for young students in the agricultural sciences and may be best suited for junior high students, although high school students could also benefit from the site's contents. Guidance counselors, county extension agents and vocational instructors would benefit from this site and could incorporate the knowledge to assist in directing students in making informed decisions related to vocational choices. Some portions are interactive (identification of meat cuts, dairy cow breed identification, poultry quiz, aquiculture quiz, and wheat quiz). Each quiz is followed by a ribbon, giving students incentive to learn and excel in each section. In general, the website is informative for the general public with primary emphasis on targeting students and vocational counselors associated with the agricultural sciences. The website is not targeted toward research interests. As a vocational-based website, it is an excellent source of information and is highly recommend it to cooperative extension agents, county agents, 4-H programs, vocational counselors, and students of middle school and high school age.
